Parker’s team lost for the first time, 5-3, but Parker scored his first goal! It was a blast from 10 yards with his left foot (for some reason he kicks with his left foot better than his right).
After the game I asked him if preferred winning and not scoring or losing but scoring. He thought about it for a second and said, “I like to win, even If I don’t score.”
That’s great, Bry — especially him being left-footed. That means he’ll get more PT on many teams, just like lefty batters do.
But I do love his attitude most of all.
